In Universal Cargo we are committed to continuous improvement through two quality programs.
The first one , our Internal Quality Program, includes the following components:
Our IQP focus on customer service and communication, language skills, basic wrapping and handling of non-allowables and packing, loading/unloading, and transportation of bulky and fragile ítems
The second one, the FAIM certification quality program, which we have striven to obtain, is a proof to our commitment to quality in all aspects of our service. It covers packing, unpacking, conditioning, loading and unloading, storage, cargo protection, transportation, customs clearance, and forwarding of international household goods and personal effects.
This program is a crucial step toward obtaining FAIM certification from FIDI (Fédération Internationale des Déménageurs Internationaux), based in Brussels. FIDI, the world’s leading moving federation, has established the highest quality standards in our industry. Its goal is to create a unified quality control system for all FIDI members, covering all aspects of our service, including packing, unpacking, conditioning, loading and unloading, storage, cargo protection, transportation, customs clearance, and forwarding of international household goods and personal effects.
This rigorous evaluation process leaves no stone unturned, thoroughly assessing all facets of our business. From customer satisfaction and cash flow to credit history, filing systems, and the condition of our equipment and vehicles, we ensure that the highest standards are maintained across all areas of our operations.
Nearly 100% of our administrative staff is bilingual (Spanish-English), and we also have German, French, and Portuguese proficiency. This diverse language skill set among our staff ensures that we can effectively communicate with our clients from different cultural backgrounds, making them feel valued and understood.
